Based in Northern Italy, Solidea Events is a boutique planning and design studio where architectural vision meets over 15 years of expertise and a deeply personal commitment to every celebration. We specialize in destination weddings and private events across Italy’s most prestigious landscapes, with a core expertise in the Italian Lakes, Venice, and the refined estates of Franciacorta and the Veneto region.
We believe beauty lives in meaningful details, in a design that tells a story, and in the natural flow of moments shared. Leveraging a long-standing network of trusted vendors and carefully selected venues, we curate every element with intention and precision, managing the complexity behind the scenes so our clients can fully enjoy their journey.

For every celebration, we weave a subtle thread (a fil rouge) that connects every phase, from the initial planning days to the event itself and beyond.

OUR STORY
Our collaboration was born out of love at first sight, just like many of the couples we work with.
Veronica, with a background in visual Design and a degree from Politecnico di Milano, came from years of experience in a destination wedding agency. She wanted to bring a more personal and creative touch to her work.
Federica, an Architect with a foundation in interior and spatial design, had always been fascinated by the world of weddings. After years in architecture firms, she was ready to channel her passion for storytelling through spaces and emotions.
The combination of these two paths - different in age, background, and experience - led to the creation of Solidea Events: a team devoted to designing bespoke weddings that reflect each couple’s story and dreams.

Drawing upon her extensive experience among the iconic venues of Lake Como, she brings a deep understanding of high-end aesthetics and event harmony. Federica provides the architectural perspective, bringing structure, spatial thinking, and technical expertise to transform concepts into well-balanced, functional, and immersive settings. Alongside us, our long-standing collaborators support each phase with care and precision, ensuring that every detail is thoughtfully carried through.
Our work is defined by a strong sense of place and an intuitive ability to interpret our clients' emotions into a tangible, sophisticated reality. THE MEANING BEHIND SOLIDEA
Our name, Solidea, carries a deep personal meaning. It was inspired by the name of Veronica’s great-grandmother, whose sweet and delicate sound always inspired her. At the same time, the name holds a beautiful symbolism that is close to both of us, combining two Italian words: Sole (Sun) and Idea. Together, they not only evoke the warmth and beauty of the Italian Dolce Vita, but also the very essence of how we design every celebration together. Solidea represents more than just a name, but the partnership, values, and vision we share as a team, bringing our couples’ dreams to life with care and authenticity.
