For Anna and Russell, a young American couple, their wedding was about more than one special day. They wanted to share the best of Italy with around 60 guests, creating three days of experiences on Lake Garda that combined local traditions, relaxed moments and an elegant celebration at one of the lake's most beautiful historic villas.

The Vision: Three Days to Experience the Italian Way of Life

The idea was to bring everyone together for a destination wedding that felt personal, engaging and unmistakably Italian. From a relaxed day by the water to an elegant dinner among the vineyards and a wedding celebration at Villa Bettoni, each event offered a different way to enjoy the region and spend meaningful time together.

The Design: Classic Elegance Meets Contemporary Wedding Design

For the wedding day, a refined palette of white and green brought together classic Italian elegance and a more contemporary aesthetic. At Villa Bettoni, curved dinner tables, delicate floral arrangements and sophisticated glass chandeliers suspended from architectural arches created a distinctive reception setting. Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect the couple's style while complementing the villa's historic character.

The cocktail hour added another layer of understated luxury, with caviar among the offerings and mother-of-pearl caviar spoons chosen as a thoughtful gift for guests.

The Experience: From Beach Club Pizza Making to a Villa Wedding Reception

The celebrations began at a beach club, where guests spent the day swimming, enjoying gelato from a traditional Italian-style cart and making pizza alongside a pizzaiolo with personalized aprons. The following evening, everyone gathered for an elegant rehearsal dinner at a vineyard venue, accompanied by live music. A live illustrator was also present, creating individual portraits of the guests as a personal keepsake to take home, adding a thoughtful and creative touch to the evening.

The wedding day brought all these experiences together at Villa Bettoni. A ceremony in the villa’s beautiful surroundings was followed by cocktails, dinner and a lively reception with a live band. As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere shifted from refined dining to joyful celebration, bringing three memorable days on Lake Garda to a close.
