Day One of a Bespoke Multi-Day Wedding Experience

To begin their multi-day wedding journey, Gaetano and Cristiana asked us to find a venue full of history and charm to welcome their 120 guests. We proposed an authentic hilltop haven just moments from Lake Garda. This Welcome Dinner was staged within the rustic stone courtyard of a historic cascina (farmhouse), the perfect opening chapter for a celebration designed to immerse their American loved ones in the heritage and vibrant colors of the Lake Garda region.

The Vision: Mediterranean Chic meets Rural Heritage

The design was inspired by the lush lemon groves of Garda and the sun-soaked atmosphere of an Italian summer. We arranged two grand, parallel imperial tables that stretched across the courtyard of a historic stone cascina. By choosing a location so distinct from the wedding venue, we ensured every day of their multi-event celebration offered a fresh, surprising perspective on the Italian lifestyle.

The Design: Lemons, Blooms, and blue

Every detail on the table was a nod to Italian craftsmanship. The floral runner flowed with a mix of yellow and white blooms, accented by fresh Garda lemons and slender, elegant blue taper candles. The stationery, including bespoke menus and place cards, mirrored the intricate blue motifs of the dinnerware. To elevate the rustic setting into a truly chic dining experience, we chose elegant wooden chairs, adding a refined detail to the farmhouse courtyard.

The Experience: A Feast for the Senses

As the evening unfolded, guests were treated to a curated selection of regional delicacies and premium local wines. The combination of the warm breeze from the hills, the rhythmic pattern of the stripes, and the glow of the blue candles created an atmosphere of pure conviviality. It was a heartfelt introduction to Italy, where the simple pleasure of a shared meal became an unforgettable celebration of love and heritage.
